Dispatch Portal Registration for Members

The Local 501 Dispatch Portal is available online to union members, registrants and would-be registrants seeking job opportunities in the operating engineer trade.

If you would like to register for a job search with Local 501, complete the steps listed below. Should you receive a “Record Not Found” message, download, print and complete the Information Sheet form here. Once you have filled it out and scanned it to a pdf file; email it to dispatch@local501.org so that your information may be updated. Once your information has been updated, you will receive an email to return to the website at www.local501.org to complete the registration process below. Please allow up to 72-hours to receive email. Be sure to check your junk and/or spam mail.

To Register for Dispatch:

    1. Select Register in the top right corner
    2. Select Member
    3. Select Register/Forgot Password
    4. Enter Email
    5. Enter Last 4-digits of SSN
    6. Enter Zip Code

An activation link will be sent to your email to activate your account. Note: The activation link expires within 4-hours. Be sure to check your junk/spam mail for link.

    1. Create and Save your Password
    2. Select Info Sheet
    3. Complete all Fields
    4. Upload your Resume
    5. Save
    6. Dispatch Fee is included in Regular Monthly Membership Dues

Note: To update resume, click trash can and delete old resume then upload new resume.

*Monthly membership dues shall be current in order to remain active on dispatch

Your resume automatically populates to open employment opportunities that match the criteria listed on your Information Sheet.

In your Member Dashboard under Dispatch Notification, you will be able to view how many times your resume has been presented to an employer (Job#) and what types of employment opportunities are available.

Employer(s) will contact members directly for employment interview(s). Note: If you are currently employed, your employer will have access to your resume should they open a dispatch request for employment.

Once employment is offered, it is the responsibility of the member to email the Dispatch Team at dispatch@local501.org of hire status.

It is also the responsibility of the member to contact the Dispatch Team to be removed from the Dispatch Resume Distribution List/Dispatch Portal.

To access Local 501’s Dispatch Portal after registering, go to www.local501.org and select Log In.
