Your health and well-being is our first priority as we closely monitor the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in our communities, employment and academia.
The JATC is following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Governor Gavin Newsom’s message, directives from the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), and adhering to all guidelines of conduct safety provided by the Los Angeles Trade Tech Community College (LATTCC). Therefore, it is in the best interest of the public to cancel and postpone all onsite training education and LATTCC courses on-campus from March 16, 2020 through March 31, 2020. We feel this is a vital step to help protect all those involved in the Apprenticeship program, as well as to support our local communities in preventing the spread of COVID-19. The suspension of on-campus instruction includes no in-person student services for two consecutive weeks. This entails all labs, some online classes and enhanced education tutoring.
As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to develop, we will monitor the situation and share updates by the end of March for onsite training education and LATTCC courses on campus, programs and additional benefits.
